Rhéa Belliveau, 84, of Shediac passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 12th, 2017. Born in Shediac on May 30th, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Léo and Juliette (LeBlanc) Belliveau.
Rhéa was a Registered Nurse for 40 years and retired as Nursing Director of the Villa Providence Shediac. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband Joe and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her four children: Jocelyne Ross (Mike), Suzanne Cormier (Donald), Marie-Josée Belliveau and Jacques (Suzanne Gaudet); three sisters: Laure O’Brien ( Late Francis), Rose-Marie LeBlanc (Omer), Nicole Thibodeau (Hector); four brothers: Donald (Ruth), Jean-Claude (Annette), Roland (Denise Lirette), Pierre (Late Janet); 11 grandchildren: Kory, Isabelle, Véronique, Geneviève, Samia, Xavier, Caroline, Jérémie, Chantal, Sophie and Karen; eight great grandchildren: Rebecca, Éliam, Phobe, Kasiopée, Émilie, Simon, Ian, and Marcus.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 rue Main, Shediac on Tuesday November 14th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday November 15th from 1 pm till time of departure 1:50 pm. The funeral will be celebrated at St. Joseph R. C. church, 415 Main Street Shediac on Wednesday November 15th at 2 pm.
Rhéa was predeceased by her husband, Joe and a daughter, Micheline Melanson (Fernand).
In memory of Rhéa, a contribution to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
