Laurina Landry, 82, of Grand-Barachois passed away on Tuesday November 14th, 2017 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Petit-Cap on July 8th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Abel and Christine (LeBlanc) Bourque.
She enjoyed playing cards, 200, darts and was an expert quilter. Before her retirement, she was employed by Paturel Seafood for 43 years and by Cape Bald Packers for 3 years.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Francis; two children: Anne-Marie Gautreau (Ken MacQuarrie), Roland (Paulette); two foster children: Linda Boucher (Late Normand), Léonard LeBlanc (Géraldine); three sisters: Anita Burke (Late Ralston), Cécile Cormier (Yvon Vautour), Alma Lirette; four grandchildren: Pierre, Daniel, Martin, Luc and one great grandchildren: Alexandre.
She was predeceased by one brother: Hervé and three sisters: Marceline, Yvonne and Corinne.
According to her wishes, there will be no visitation. A chapel service will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Monday, November 20th at 10:00 am.
In memory of Laurina, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
