Stewart Manderson, 57, of Shediac, passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday January 3rd, 2018. Born in Germany on November 4th, 1960, he was the son of Margaret Ziebart and the late Purdy Manderson.
Stewart was a devoted, passionate, retired Department of Fisheries and Ocean officer with 30 years of service. The last three summers, he was a proud security guard with Parlee Beach Provincial Park. Besides his love of nature and for Parlee Beach, Stewart enjoyed entertaining people and had a strong interest in military jet fighters.
He is survived by his spouse, Sylvie (Johnson); two children: Michelle Manderson and Andrew (Ana); one sister: Rosemarie Manderson; two brothers: Frank (Jo-Anne) and Mark; two grandchildren: Jude and Elliot.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where a chapel service will be held on Wednesday January 10th at 11:30 am. Visiting hours on Tuesday January 9th will be from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm.
He was predeceased by a sister: Monica Manderson and twin brother: Earl.
In memory of Stewart, a contribution to the Nature Conservancy of Canada or to the CHU Dumont Foundation "Dialysis" would be appreciated.
