Roger Brine, 86, of Castel des Flots Bleus passed away at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Friday, March 23rd, 2018. Born in Shemogue on February 8th, 1932, he was the son of the late Fred and Ada (LeBlanc) Brine.
He is survived by his spouse of 65 years, Irene (Niles); his 11 children: Michael (Lucille), Joseph (Norma), Carolyn, Richard (Gwen), Patsy (Bob), Marie (Paul), Danny (Norma), Steven (Denise), Allain (Wendy), Émerie (Bill) and Brian; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren: four siblings: Georgie Hackey, Thérèse Congdon, Jean McArthur, Camille as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Bedford, Eileen, Margerite, Gerald, Bobby, Valerie, Henry and grandson Derrick.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, March 28th from 9 am till time of service.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church, 2648 Acadie Road in Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, March 28th at 11 am.
In memory of Roger, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Dr. Georges L. Dumont UHC Foundation would be appreciated.
