Léonard St-Pierre, 72, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont, UHC. Born in Trois-Ruisseaux on February 8th, 1946, he was the son of the late Léonard and Élise (Duguay) St-Pierre.
Before his retirement, Léonard was a mechanic and school custodian.
He is survived by his common-law spouse Linda Duguay; one adopted son: Luc; three sisters: Camilla Royer (late Francis), Élodie Godin (late Charles) and Nora Cormier (Rhéal); one brother: Arsène (late Rolande); three step-children: Sebastien, Sacha and Gabriel; three step-grandchildren: Meaghan, Ethan and Alexis as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Murielle and two brothers: Francis, Léonide and stepmother, Flora.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funéarium, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé. Visiting hours are Wednesday April 18 from 9 am until time of departure (10:50).
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R. C. church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé at 11 am.
In memory of Léonard, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation, Oncology, would be appreciated.
