Alvérie LeBlanc, 72, of Petit-Cap passed away on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Petit-Cap on December 13th, 1945, he was the son of the late Tilmon and Alice (Doiron) LeBlanc.
A commercial fisherman, Alvérie also enjoyed sport hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Cormier); one son: Nicholas; siblings: Jeannine LeBlanc (Claude), Thaddée (Jeanne), Marie Donelle (Léandre), Azor (Léona), Robert (Bernette), Éric (Louise) and Camille (Anne-Marie) as well by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Sunday May 27th, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. Monday visits are from 9:30 am till time of departure 10:40 am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Timothée R. C. church, 27 allée de l’Église, Shemogue on Monday May 28th at 11 am.
In memory of Alvérie, a contribution to Shemogue Parish Cemetery or to the CHU Dumont Foundation – oncology would be appreciated.
