Arcade "Archie" Arsenault
Arcade (Archie) Arsenault, 90, of Shediac passed away surrounded by loved ones at the Dr. Georges Dumont UHC on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018.
Born in Moncton on February 12th, 1928, he was the son of the late Elmer and Celina (Cormier) Arsenault.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 69 years, Theresa (LeBlanc); his three children: Diane, Ronald (Marianne) and Rachel (Adjei); five grand-children: Shawn (Rachel), David (Chantal), Nancy, Comfort (Bob) and Emmanuel; six great grand-children: Keyana, Catherine, Isabel, Connor, Ruby and Willow; a brother: Eukie (Liliette) and a sister: Phyllis LeBlanc (Tony) and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers: Ulysse and Raoul.
He was employed for 41 years with CN Railway. A well-respected man and community volunteer, he devoted much of his life to serving and helping others through many organizations and privately. As a member of the William Ling Lawn Bowling Club, he was an avid lawn bowler at the provincial and national levels.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, from where a chapel service will be held on Monday, September 17th at 10:30 am. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 16th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
In memory of Archie, a contribution to the Vestiaire Saint Joseph of Shediac would be appreciated.
