Zoël J. LeBlanc
Zoël J. LeBlanc, 95, formerly of Archibald Street Moncton, passed away on October 6, 2018 at the Veterans Health Centre in Moncton. Born on August 21, 1923 in Dieppe, he was the son of the late Dominique and Irène (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for CN. He was also a veteran of WWII and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1310, Sunny Brae.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
In addition to his beloved wife of 67 years, Marie-Louise (Richard), he is survived by his daughter, Irene Stuart (Dean) of Moncton; one grandson, Kevin (Janice); one great-grandson, Jessy; one brother-in-law and five sisters-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Léonard, Yvon, Marie, Omer and Noé.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at 3 pm.Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Zoël, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
