Roy Gould, 85, of Moncton, formerly of Alphonse Street, Shediac, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 12th at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Fox Creek, Dieppe on June 15th, 1933, he was the son of the late Willie and Diane (Bourque) Gould.
He will be sadly missed by his two children: Karen (Omer Richard) Gould of Shediac and Stephen (Nicole) Gould of Moncton; two grandchildren: Alyssa and Nathalie as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his spouse, Lorraine née LeBlanc (2015); a sister: Margaret Langis and a brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Gould.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday, October 16h , from 2pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R. C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Wednesday, October 17th at 11 am. Inurnment will be in the Frenette Funeral Center Columbarium, Shediac.
In memory of Roy, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation – Dialysis or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
