Raymond Hebert, 75, of Moncton, passed away Saturday October 13, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born April 24, 1943 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Jacob and Florida (LeBlanc) Hebert.
Raymond was a loving husband and father who made everyone laugh. He was inducted in the Moncton Sports Wall of Fame in October 2017, and the NB Horseshoe Hall of Fame in 2003 for his many years of competing and dominating in horseshoe pitching.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Fillier; two daughters: Teresa Ouellette (Frank) and Tina Watling (Ken); one step-son, Gary; three grandchildren: Victoria, Justin and Gary; three sisters: Margaret, Alice and Jean; three brothers: Fred, Léo, and Edgar; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters: Rosie and Rita; four brothers: Edward, Albert, Johnny, and Gerald.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday October 18 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm.
