Juliette Bourgeois, 100, of Shediac formerly of Scoudouc, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Malakoff, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Useline (Dupuis) Melanson.
She is survived by her two daughters: Irène LeBlanc (Edmond) of Shediac and Florence Bourgeois of Pointe-du-Chêne; Gérald (late Yvonne) of Ayer, Mass. whom she considered her son; two grandchildren: Serge (Connie) and Vincent (Carole); one great-grandson Luc (Christine); one great-great-grandson, Benjamin; one sister: Aline Cormier (Laurie) of Scoudouc; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her spouse, Vital (1992); five sisters: Bertha, Stella, Anita, Dorice and Yvette at a young age; two brothers; Stanislas and Yvon; one grandson, Richard and one great-grandson Nicholas.
Visitation will be at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396, Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday, December 1 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm only.
Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required, and social distancing regulations are in effect. Masks are mandatory to enter the funeral centre. Limit of 25 people in the funeral centre at any given point during visitation.
A private funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Jacques-le-Majeur R. C. Church, 3091, route 132, Scoudouc on Wednesday Dec 2 and will be recorded. The video will be available on her obituary on our Website by the end of the day.
